Position Overview:We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Manager to lead and oversee software development projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing cross-functional teams, setting project goals, and ensuring timely and successful project delivery. As a Project Manager at 9Byte, you will work closely with clients, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that projects align with client needs and are completed within budget and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full project lifecycle, from project scoping and initiation to delivery and post-launch evaluation.
- Define project goals, create timelines, and allocate resources efficiently.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (developers, designers, testers) and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions promptly.
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage project risks proactively.
- Prepare detailed project reports and documentation for internal and client review.
- Facilitate regular status meetings with the team and stakeholders to review progress, risks, and next steps.
- Ensure adherence to Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the software development or IT industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).
- Experience working with both local and offshore development teams is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to project risks and challenges.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
Nice-to-Have:
- PMP, Scrum Master, or similar project management certification.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with software development processes and coding best practices.
